Air Ambulance Services: EGNOS

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what steps has she taken to enable air ambulance services to be authorised to use the EGNOS signal as a Safety-of-Life service.

The UK lost access to EGNOS in 2021 as a consequence of leaving the EU. DfT is reviewing the case and viability of rejoining the EGNOS programme. Doing so would be subject to negotiation with the European Union.
