As we gather with family and friends this festive season, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. A special thank you to all those working over Christmas, including our emergency services, care workers and our armed forces - your dedication is hugely appreciated.
If you need help or support over Christmas and New Year, here’s some important emergency contact numbers. My emails will continue to be monitored over the festive period. If you need to contact me urgently about a casework issue, email alan.strickland.mp@parliament.uk

As part of the Royal Navy Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme, it was a privilege to visit the Institute of Naval Medicine. From keeping nuclear sub crews healthy on long deployments, to preparing commandos to train in the extremes of the Arctic, the centre plays a vital role.
We’ve done a lot. But there’s more to do.
