The Prime Minister is right to stick. We need to show cool heads at a time of global crisis. We all remember when the Tories imploded. Our country and our party need political and economic stability. Unity is strength.
It’s been a very difficult time for the Labour Party, but the answer isn’t to copy the Tory playbook on how to self destruct. A global security crisis and its economic impact on our country means we need political stability. Unity is strength.

Am loving the snooker match tonight between Williams and Hawkins
The @Rotary has been at the heart of the #EndPolio fight for 45+ years. Today, on behalf of the @RotaryAber, I asked about the importance of continued support, and protecting decades of progress, in the fight against polio.
The NHS Couch to 5K and @parkrunUK are excellent inclusive, free programmes that help people improve their physical health and wellbeing. They show what can be achieved when we make it easier for people to get active, and are strong examples that can be built on for the future.

Constituents in Blaenau Gwent & Rhymney have experienced unacceptable delays and disruption with their post. This is unacceptable. I was part of the Business and Trade Committee hearing that questioned Royal Mail management last week and have followed up with this letter
I raised the importance of backing our steel industry in Parliament today. I asked the Secretary of State to say more about the major infrastructure projects ahead and how refining public procurement rules for steel will work in practice. Watch the full exchange here.
I met with Cyber College Cymru leadership at Ebbw Vale @coleggwent and was delighted to hear learners recently won the National AI Ethics Competition at Bletchley Park. A great achievement and a testament to the quality of teaching on the course I'm proud to have helped establish

I met with Royal Mail management this morning to reiterate how unhappy I am about the poor service still being experienced in parts of Blaenau Gwent & Rhymney. Royal Mail have confirmed there's a plan to improve their service and they will be sending me information on this.
What a pleasure it was to officially open the new @Aneurinleisure Community Kit Room at Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre. This is such a brilliant idea. Kit that has been donated by the local community – boots, sportswear, equipment and more – to be used by the local community for free.
RT @TorstenBell: Reform have just made a huge mistake ahead of Senedd elections in May. Their local government pension plans mean: - scrapp…
I was pleased to mark my 250th parkrun on the weekend. I’m such a fan of @parkrunUK, if you want a fun, free way to get fit please consider coming along to Parc Bryn Bach or Aberbeeg, our two fantastic events in Blaenau Gwent & Rhymney. A big thanks to the brilliant volunteers.
I'm very pleased to be told that Ebbw Vale will be getting a Banking Hub similar to the one opened in Abertillery last year, bringing together several major banks under one roof and including a service where customers can speak face-to-face with an advisor from their own bank.
