I think we’re only 9 months on from recording a podcast together yet @WCWomenFC are going from strength to strength! It was great to meet Nicole & Jon last week to hear their exciting plans & chat about next steps!
It was a real pleasure to give my keynote to a wide range of people working in energy & gas at IGEM’s annual conference. Energy policy needs to be focussed on people & real life, & as an industry this is a moment to plan for success, believe in our mission, & believe in ourselves
Are you interested in doing politics differently? I want to hear from you! @Demos is inviting local residents to take part in, in-person "Worcester Real Conversations" with me this June, where we’ll work together to tackle issues in our community. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSefOcX3MYyWjkdIIiZixDYeNK5pMQ0gPu2BMAGlIeBsBpeOhQ/viewform?usp=header

Good news! Cranham Primary School and Cranberries Nursery & Oldbury Park Primary School will be getting Govt funding for new nurseries! But… I’m also really keen to get Family Hubs (remember SureStart?!) back in Worcester - still more to do!
Here’s my quick round-up this week, as usual there are plenty of projects to support both here in Worcester and in Westminster 👉🏻
It was great to drop in to @MrDsOSS as they launch their new mint drops, inspired by the aromas of the Malvern Hills! Worcester is so lucky to have so many fantastic independent businesses - they make our city incredibly special!!
It’s been a busy week with lot’s going on in Worcester for Pride In Place Warndon as well as my work in parliament with online safety. Take a look at my video for more updates this week.

It was great to be at the launch of a new green hydrogen project this week! Just like offshore wind, green hydrogen has huge potential - if we crack on and get building! This is a hopeful beginning!! #GreenEnergy #Hydrogen #BrighterFuture https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c15xyegz01no

The Family Hubs APPG has been exploring how local authorities can work in partnership with faith organisations (with a detailed look at the Church) to serve communities. It was a really interesting session and well worth catching up on if you missed it! https://www.familyhubsappg.org.uk/
Last night I led an adjournment debate on kinship carers, calling on Ministers to collaborate and work with other departments to find solutions to the challenges kinship carers face & improve the support they receive. I’m looking forward to following this up @KinshipCarersUk
